Pemilihan Umum (Pemilu) Indonesia 2009 akan segera digelar pada tanggal 9 April 2009 untuk pemilu legislatif. Kampanye damai mulai disuarakan. Pemilu yang biasa disebut sebagai pesta demokrasi ini akan diikuti oleh 44 partai politik, 6 diantaranya adalah partai lokal Aceh.

Pemilu 2009

Saat tulisan ini dibuat pemilu 2009 tinggal 64 hari lagi. Proses panjang pemilu diawali dengan kampanye. Para peserta pemilu berlomba merebut simpati 200juta rakyat Indonesia dengan menyampaikan janji-janji manisnya.

Kampanye adalah penyampaian visi misi partai kepada masyarakat. Jika pada pemilu sebelumnya masa kampanye relatif singkat, maka pada tahun 2009 ini masa kampanye pemilu Indonesia bisa dibilang cukup panjang. Dimulai sejak 12 Juli 2008 parpol peserta pemilu sudah bisa memperkenalkan bendera dan nomor urut partai kepada masyarakat.
